I first got the idea for this book when I was 9 years old.
The book is basically a series of cartoon illustrations that make fun of rules of etiquette. The basic jokes were very easy for me to write, but I spent over a year working on all of the illustrations.

With Manners, I got the idea for the book when I was 9.
With The Back of Miss L's Room, I wrote the whole story when I was 9!
This book was a huge hit with my 3rd Grade class. I was literally famous (among 25 kids for 3 months or so)
This is the 20th Anniversary Edition. It has new illustrations that I drew as an adult to add to my childhood prose.
